How does Copper affect me?

Your new copper ring or necklace will come untreated and unsealed.
Copper is a reactive metal! Please be aware of that BEFORE purchasing!
Sometimes a green layer can form on your skin were you wear your copper jewelry. It is completely harmless and simply washes of with a bit of water and soap.
The more you wear your copper piece, the shinier your piece will get and we even notice that the green layer disappears as well.
Why we don't seal it?
It is not good to have a layer of chemicals on your skin at all. Copper will oxidize. Always. Even under a layer of lacquer or wax.

I have ordered the wrong size! What now?

No need to worry! Send me a message and I exchange and / or resize for free! Sometimes I can't resize but I always offer free exchanges! I only ask to cover shipping back to you.

Is your jewelry not quite the right size or not what you expected?

I accept returns on any made to order and in stock items within 14 days of receiving your order. I don't accept returns on earrings and custom birthstone rings as your piece is especially made for you.

Please message me for that reason and why you'd like to return it. To be eligible for a return, your piece must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. This means no signs of wear or tear, scratches or alterations. It also must be in the original packaging returned to me.

If there's anything you're unhappy with, please let me know so I can fix this and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Can I pick a stone?

Yes! After placing your order, please send me a message about picking your own stone. I will send you stone choices!
Please do not leave me a note with your order to contact you for stone choices as once your order is in my work queue, picking the right stone can be time sensitive and take several days.

--> Please send me a message right after your order is placed to ensure enough time for picking a stone!

What is gold-fill?

Gold-filled is not a metal filled with gold. It is made by heat and pressure bonding a thin layer of karat gold to a brass core. The value of gold-filled is greater than gold-plated because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold of 5% it's weight.
Gold-fill products are an excellent alternative to higher priced solid gold metals without loosing the beautiful, luminous yellow or blush pink rose look and feel. It is durable with proper care for many years without tarnishing.

Gold-fill Care

It is quite simple to take care of your new gold-fill rings or necklaces. Much like solid gold, avoid chlorinated pools and touching chemicals (cremes, water high in minerals, cleaner etc.). Simply take your piece off.
Sharp or scratchy surfaces should also be avoided as they can manipulate the gold layer and expose the brass core resulting in tarnish.

Take off skinny rings before physical activity. Hammered, lined or patterned rings are stronger and more durable than smooth rings. Consider them when choosing your favourite style.

Soldering Gold-fill

When soldering gold-filled wire, great care has to be taken to not expose the brass layer. In order to do that, I only solder with 10karat gold solder as this is the best colour match for my gold-fill products. I do not file or polish the solder seam therefore a tiny, visible line can be seen more or less on each ring. The seam is more visible on smooth rings and lightly on rose gold-fill rings. They are not imperfections - rather little gold dew drops :-) The solder seam will not tarnish, de-colour your ring or expand.

Stacking Ring Sizing

When ordering multiple rings to wear on one finger, consider sizing up your general ring size. Stacking rings are not like wedding or engagement rings who are rather tight fitting. Multiple rings (even just one) should have a little movement about them. A quarter size (0.25) up for up to 4 rings and half a size (0.5) up for more than 5 rings should be the rule of thumb to allow enough space on your finger for the skin to move.

Please ask me if you have questions about that!
